Heritage Real Estate Partners
113,000 SF / 22 stories / 72 residential units

1399 Park Avenue is the first of its kind in Harlem and Whitehall knew it would be special from the start. Inspiration was taken from the architect, the surrounding neighborhood, the current demographic, and the evolving industrial context of the surrounding areas. The interiors are strong and industrial while keeping the feeling of a refined experience. The materials in the lobby are mostly minimal, exposed concrete and a clean white ceiling, with a big splash of honey onyx as the focal point and a custom designed chandelier by Whitehall.

As you move further into the building, finishes become softer with industrial accents, nodding to the lobby and exterior design. Each amenity area has its own unique experience, from the tenant lounge with connecting outdoor terrace space to the billiard lounge and library with rich walnut paneling and bronze lighting accents.

The residences of 1399 Park are light and airy with pops of brass metal accents and wide plank oak wood flooring throughout. The kitchens are clean, modern, luxurious, and rather than using traditional hardware, Whitehall designed a railing detail that runs around the edge of all the lower cabinetry, becoming a hidden, integrated finger pull. The bathrooms have honed limestone and marble on the floors, walls, and tub surrounds. The light colored stone is accented with brass plumbing fittings and warm toned metal legs on the vanities. All of the plumbing fixtures were custom designed and manufactured for 1399 Park.

1399 Park Avenue uses organic finishes such as raw woods, concrete, honed natural stones, and brass finishes will change over time and become more beautiful with age and use.

We collaborate with our affiliated architecture firm, Hill West to create holistic buildings that are as thoughtfully designed on the exterior as they are on the interior.
