Interior design leader joins New York studio to guide creative vision

New York, NY — Whitehall Interiors, a Manhattan-based design studio recognized for its refined, experience-driven approach to interior architecture and design, is pleased to announce that Ashley O’Neill has joined the firm as Director of Design. Ashley brings more than two decades of multifaceted design experience across respected studios, including Fogarty Finger, Bjarke Ingels Group, and SOM. His portfolio spans an impressive range of project types—most notably multifamily residential interiors, as well as hospitality-inspired amenities, private residences, athletic facilities, academic environments, and workplace interiors. Known for his conceptual rigor, collaborative mindset, and commitment to design clarity, Ashley’s approach aligns seamlessly with Whitehall’s ethos of creating purposeful, enduring spaces rooted in narrative, craft, and thoughtful innovation.

In Ashley’s role as Director of Design, he will guide the creative direction of the studio with a design language that balances elegance, technical fluency, and constructability. He will partner closely with clients and project teams to advance Whitehall’s mission of delivering interiors that elevate how people live, work, and socialize.
